Character!  That's what makes us interested or not in any stage production, TV show, or movie that we watch.  That is what Final Act Drama has been teaching pre-schoolers, grade schoolers, college students, and adults to develop as they learn to act.  It doesn't matter if you are on stage or screen, a good character is what makes an audience care about what is happening in a story.   So how does an actor put on the "suit" of a character.  Well, that is the challenge and the question.  Do we put on the "suit" and "act" like this person in the script?  Or do we study that role so we become that individual.  When we have embraced a role so that we think, speak, move, act, and react as this character, only then will an audience stop looking at actors and start caring about the story.  Don't Act!  Be!
