Student Acting and Production Course for Film and TV

(2) 8 week sessions starting January 25, 2011 Our actors will learn the art of acting in front of a camera and then will form groups to write, produce, direct, act, and digitally edit their own short films. Students will rotate among crew positions to learn different jobs on the film set. Students will walk away from this course with very practical experience in movie making. We provide a safe environment of creative expression that fosters an atmosphere of fun and innovative learning that teaches kids of all ages the fundamentals of the dramatic arts. Get ready for this semester! Each class teaches performance skills Pantomime, Stage Direction, Improvisation, Speech Fundamentals, Music, Story Development, Characterization, On-Camera Techniques, and so much more! Our classes are great for those who want their child to grow personally. Our actors develop more confidence, articulate speaking skills, and learn solid performance skills they can use on stage and screen. At the end of the semester we showcase our students in a great show for friends and family. Classes run from September to mid January.
