Russ Randall
Russ Randall has been a performer, producer, teacher, writer, and director in the dramatic arts for almost 24 years. He has applied his creative teaching techniques to kids, teens, and adults of all ages. His love for the dramatic arts and kids has been the driving passion that led him to found Final Act Drama Academy. As an Executive Board Member of the Virginia Production Alliance, he brings his film production experience to his students from kids to adults.

Final Act Drama provides on-site student enrichment programs to public and private schools who are looking to add a dynamic arts programming. We lead performing arts courses like acting, music, choreography, theater fundamentals, and screen acting to develop our student’s creative talents and abilities. Our safe environment of creative expression fosters an atmosphere of fun and innovated learning that teach kids of all ages the fundamentals of the dramatic arts.
Mission: As a Faith Based company, our mission is to educate, inspire, and train performers to be use their gifts, talents, and abilities to honor God with their performances and lives. We aspire to act professionally and be our best for the One that gave us our gifts.

We have sent our 2 daughters to the various classes that Final Act Drama has offered over the past few years. They have really enjoyed the classes and the things that they have learned. Then we decided to send them to a class in Washington, DC where we thought that they would learn more than what they had been taught at Final Act Drama. We were wrong. Some of the things that our daughters really enjoyed about the DC class were the things that they had already been taught during Final Act Drama. This past summer both of our girls were cast in a 48 hour movie for the Richmond film festival - one of them was even cast as the lead character. Russ has encouraged our girls every step of the way. He has recommended them for different roles and used them in different materials that he has done for other organizations. Final Act Drama Academy has been a terrific forum for our daughters with what they have learned and how they have been able to use those skills.

 | My son Jack has participated in Final Act's summer camp, as well as the ongoing drama classes and both have helped him develop his talent tremendously. Working with Russ has given him an understanding of what it means to be an actor, as well as an appreciation for his own particular style. With Final Act he has received a lot of individual attention so that he can gain the confidence and skill needed to put his personality to good use on the screen or on the stage! Russ Randall's talent, experience, and Christian values combine to make this a very nurturing environment for young entertainers. When Jack did a short film, he was the only child on set, but was perhaps the most professional actor. Russ is always very supportive when Jack has auditions and continues caring about his students even when he's "off the clock". I am so glad we found Final Act Drama!

West End Christian School has been privileged to partner with Final Act Drama to provide performing arts and fine art programs for our students. Final Act Drama has held after-school drama classes at our school as well as summer drama and music camps. Currently, Final Act Drama provides our music instruction in K – 12 in addition to drama and art electives.

I am very pleased with and grateful for Final Act Drama and Mr. Russ Randall. This is my daughter’s second year and she really enjoys acting and learning about drama. At first, I just thought drama would be something fun for her to do. However, after watching her improvised performance last year, I saw how much talent my daughter has. Final Act Drama gave her confidence that allowed that talent to shine through. She learned much last year and continues to build upon that foundation. This year she decided to and has begun taking piano lessons to compliment her acting with musical expression. Final Act Drama is also teaching her related skills such as voice and how to apply stage make up!
I am excited that Final Act Drama has coordinated with a local professional photographer to offer a “head shot” photograph for her portfolio. It would have been hard to me to find someone I could trust and who would provide this service at such a reasonable rate! The photograph will be imperative should my daughter decide to pursue a professional acting opportunity later. The icing on the cake that compliments Final Act Drama is that everything is done in a Christian environment around Christian principles!
